So yeah, Cliff Lee was traded to the Phillies as opposed to Doc. Lee and Francisco were traded from the Indians for Carrasco, Knapp, Donald and Marson. The Phillies appeared to be the front-runners for Doc.
Meaning we'll get to hear even more about Doc in the next couple of days...and who knows what kind of weird-ass rumours'll be going around again.
Oh, and the Pirates have traded Ian Snell and Jumpin' Jack Wilson to the Mariners in a 7-player deal that included Jeff Clement and Ronny Cedeno. Talk about excitement.
